Demant in Poland

Demant has been continuously building its position in Poland since the 1990s. Currently, Demant employs over 3300 high-class engineers and specialists. Every day, professionals work on the development and implementation of technologies that really support people and companies operating around the world.


Warsaw office was founded as a technological R&D Centre at the turn of 2015-2016. Specialists cooperate with teams located around the world developing software solutions creating life-changing differences through hearing health. They take part in global projects connected with developing software solutions for hearing aids and diagnostics equipment.


Demant in Western Pomerania

Our roots date back to 2007 when the company started its operations under the name Oticon Polska Production. From the very beginning it has specialized in the production of hearing aids manufactured in the main production plant located in Mierzyn.

Its dynamic development, combined with expansion of the offer and production of hearing aids of various brands as well as expansion of the staff, resulted in a change of the structure and establishment of a new organization called DGS Poland in 2013. In 2015, a decision was made to establish the second company - DGS Business Services in the centre of Szczecin, providing common services to the companies belonging to the whole group. The next change took place in 2019 when the decision was made to unify the brand across the global organization to Demant.

Locations in Western Pomerania

In Mierzyn - near Szczecin - dealing with the implementation of new products and manufacturing of hearing aids. The Distribution Center with the most modern high-bay warehouse in Europe is also located here. The company employs high-class engineers and specialists.

In Szczecin - responsible for financial services, quality assurance and compliance with the legal requirements as well as support for Demant Group companies in the IT area. As part of the international research and development team (R&D), Polish and Danish specialists create software for technologies used in state-of-the-art hearing aids.

Polish branches of the company cooperate with the headquarters located in Denmark. The specialists working in them are actively involved in many global projects, joining forces to create innovative and functional technologies.
